The Large Hamburger Box is part of our Notpla line of snack containers.
Inspired by nature's circular waste solutions, Notpla developed the alternative to plastic coating using seaweed. Notpla is the answer to making packaging disappear naturally, just like a piece of fruit.
Notpla packaging has the same grease and water-resistant properties as traditional cardboard packaging with a coating. They are stackable, microwave-safe, and perfect for both hot and cold dishes.
Pros and cons
- Notpla is the only coating not considered plastic-containing by the regulator, the Human Environment and Transport Inspectorate (ILT).
- Products with a Notpla coating can still be used for on-site consumption after January 1, 2024!
- The Notpla coating is made from seaweed
- Certifications: Compostability EN 13432 and FSC®.
