Gray XPS foam trays are used for packaging meat, fish, poultry, vegetables, and fruits. XPS is a stable and shock-resistant material. If packaging with a lightweight XPS tray is dropped, the contents are hardly damaged.
These 70-40 foam trays contain small holes (vampirella) that absorb excess moisture. This prevents bacteria and mold, keeping packed food fresher for longer. With vampirella trays, it is not necessary to use absorbent liners. Covering these trays is easy with stretch film or flow pack bags.
