Thanks to a unique coating, the cups can be processed as cardboard in the regular waste stream after use. This EarthCoating® is an innovative barrier coating that replaces up to 51% of the plastic with minerals. This mineralized resin blend is designed to be fully compatible with existing (paper) recycling systems. EarthCoating® has a AAA rating for recyclability (Der Grune Punkt).
