Panini trays are part of our Notpla snack tray line.

Inspired by nature's circular waste solutions, Notpla has developed an alternative to plastic coating using seaweed. Notpla offers a way for packaging to naturally decompose, just like a piece of fruit.

Notpla packaging has the same grease and water-repellent properties as traditional coated cardboard packaging. They are stackable, microwave-safe, and perfect for both hot and cold dishes.

Pros and cons
  • Notpla is the only coating not assessed as a plastic-containing coating by the regulator, Human Environment and Transport Inspectorate (ILT).
  • Products with a Notpla coating can still be used for on-site consumption after January 1, 2024!
  • The Notpla coating is made from seaweed
  • Certifications: Compostability EN 13432 and FSC®.
