7-layer absorbent pads for packaging meat, fish, poultry, and fruit and vegetables. Produce items rest on these pads like a cushion, helping to reduce impact and pressure spots.
The 126-gram pads are made of cellulose and finished with a perforated PE top layer. Any moisture released is absorbed into the cellulose through the holes in the PE layer. By capturing this moisture, the risk of mold is reduced and shelf life can be extended. These pads can absorb approximately 750 grams of moisture per m2.
